Hi, my name is Nicolas Köhler.

My dad tought me the basics of photography around the time I started walking on two legs. After disconnecting from this early introduction during my high school years, a trip to the famous land 'Down Under' (Australia) refuled my passion for photography once again.

Discovering the truely amazing night-sky of the southern hemisphere and the seren australian outback, I bought a second hand Nikon D5100 and photographed my way up the australian west coast.

Returning back to Europe I lost my heart twofold: towards travelling, to try and discover all the incredible places mother earth has to offer, and preserving all of my journey through my photos.

Though, I might have gotten lost somewhere along the way... Since in 2019 I started doing portraits too. (Might have something to do with me being stuck in one place while studying, but honestly I don't know...) And now I'm mostly found on shootings saying stuff like "Photoshop fixes' it!" or "F*ck the colour grey!".
